Washington, DC: Home sweet home!
We both grew up in the same neighborhood in Fairfax, Virginia, a suburb of DC. Then, we moved a few hours south to Charlottesville, Virginia while Ann was in college. Now we're back! We currently live in Arlington, Virginia, near the Potomac River, the Pentagon, and Arlington Cemetery.
DC traffic can be a nightmare, but we love riding our Softail into the city on Friday and Saturday nights when the traffic dies down. We hope you enjoy these photos of our home town. |

Space Shuttle Discovery over DC (April 2012), in the Smithsonian (Sep 2012)
Alex had the day off work, and Ann works downtown, so we met on the National Mall to watch the Shuttle fly over DC.
Mount Vernon
Who doesn't love George Washington? Located 18 miles south of DC, Mount Vernon is a perfect weekend trip.
