Rolling Thunder (April 2012)
We spent Memorial Day Weekend riding our Heritage Softail Classic in the Rolling Thunder parade.
First stop: Ride of the Patriots! Each year, northern Virginia riders meet at the Patriot Harley-Davidson dealership in Fairfax, Virginia, about 20 miles outside of DC. We meet at 7am, have a ceremony at 8am, and ride together to the Pentagon at 9am. We estimate that 5,000-10,000 bikers rode the Ride of the Patriots this year.

Second stop: We visited the Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Virginia right before Rolling Thunder. Great views of DC!
It was great to see so many bikes in DC for Rolling Thunder. They were parked along every street for blocks and blocks surrounding the downtown mall.
